Ivy PetersonEast
Therapist
I believe we are all shaped by our environments and life experiences, including abuse and trauma. As a therapist, I hold a safe space for all people to explore, to express, and to heal. I use evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, radical acceptance and personal empowerment to help people recognize the relationship between their thoughts and their behaviors. I encourage self-acceptance and healthy choices. I specialize in serving people who have survived trauma, LGBTQIA+ folks, families, allies, and people living with HIV and significant and persistent mental illnesses (SMPI). My pronouns are she/her. I was born and raised in the Cuyuna Lakes area, and I’m honored to serve this community.
