Education
Celeste received her B.A. in Psychology and Gender Studies at Portland State University in 2017. She later received her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Plymouth State University in 2025. As part of her graduate program, she completed a concentration in Eating Disorders and Body Image counseling, involving coursework in nutrition counseling, medical aspects of eating disorders, awareness and prevention, and treatment modalities.
Experience
Between education programs, Celeste worked in the education and mental health fields for about 5 years. Her role as an Eating Disorder Technician at The Emily Program inspired her to pursue a career in counseling. She completed her practicum and internship at two college mental health centers working with students and addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
Approach
Celeste uses a Narrative Therapy approach with her clients to help identify impactful experiences, deepen meaning, and explore barriers to living their most authentic lives. She also pulls from behavioral therapies (CBT, DBT) to help build awareness and coping skills.
Specialty Areas
Celeste specializes in eating disorder and body image treatment and gender-affirming care. She enjoys working with adult individuals and provides both in-person (Duluth office) and Telehealth therapy services. Celeste has experience working with the following diagnoses and conditions:

When she’s not working with clients, Celeste enjoys journaling by Lake Superior, making endless amounts of playlists, and spending time with her family.
