Taylor Draper

Testing Examiner

Taylor earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in clinical psychology in 2016 from Loma Linda University in southern CA. Taylor comes from a background in research and has published over fifteen peer-reviewed journal articles. He has been cited more than 100 times in areas of posttraumatic stress in combat veterans, the connection between inflammatory disorders and mental health, factors related to increased health-seeking behavior in breast cancer survivors, as well as the connection between racism with mental and physical health. In terms of clinical psychology, Taylor has experience providing psychotherapy and psychological testing to children and adults since 2008. He specializes in psychological testing for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Beyond clinical work, Taylor has taught psychology courses for Minnesota North College and designed rehabilitative programs for Itasca county probation and the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Taylor practices under the professional supervision of Dr. Amy Carrison, PsyD, LP, LADC. Taylor currently lives in Grand Rapids, MN, after moving from southern CA in 2016 to be closer to family. He enjoys spending time with friends/family and being in nature. His passions include cross-country skiing, snowboarding, paddleboarding, and hiking.
