Lisa Bildeaux

MA, LPCC, NCC

A native of Grand Rapids, Lisa spent time working in Alaska and Michigan. In Alaska she gained invaluable experience working at a community health agency and in the state’s maximum security prison as a bachelor’s level psychological counselor. While obtaining her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Western Michigan University she worked in the foster care system. Lisa works from person-centered and cognitive behavioral-based therapy, but incorporates interventions and styles from other theories as needed for individuals. She understands each person is an expert in themselves (whether they know it yet or not) and she strives to guide you in self-reflections and insights that will give you the answers you’re looking for in your life. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is working towards EMDRIA certification. Lisa is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Lisa counsels adults from the Grand Rapids office.
